Scout In-App Assistant

Scout's help assistant and onboarding now live inside Plansight

What Changed?

Scout now lives inside the Plansight app. Users can ask Scout a question and get answers from the knowledge base without leaving the screen they're on — plus a guided onboarding flow welcomes new users into the product.

Help is surfaced in context: the right articles appear based on the page you're working in.

How It Works

In-App Chatbot

Open Scout from inside Plansight and ask a question in plain language. Scout answers from the knowledge base and links to the full article — no need to leave the app or open a separate help site.

Onboarding Flow

New users are guided through a first-run onboarding flow that orients them to the core areas of Plansight.

Geographic Placement & Contextual Training

Scout surfaces help based on where you are in the app (geographic placement), so the most relevant articles for the current page rise to the top — powered by the contextual training in the Page Library.
